Academy for Creating Excellence (ACE) exists to prepare men of color for excellence through the core values of FAMILY, ACADEMICS, MOTIVATION, and ENVIRONMENT (FAME).

Cohort Based Mentorship

ACE Academy partners with local nonprofits, schools and school districts to provide leadership and identity development modules for African American males and young men of color. ACE’s core curriculum is centered around the values of self efficacy, identity and personal leadership development.

The modules are offered in various learning modalities and feature topics such as but not limited to, core values, money management, time management, community & personal accountability and health & wellness specific to the needs of young men of color. ACE has partnered with The City of Seattle’s Department of Education & Early Learning, Goodwill of Seattle, Highline School District, Renton School District and Seattle Public School District.

Career Pathways 

Work to build their social and emotional skills, improve their health and wellness habits, advance their STEM content knowledge, receive support with college and career planning, academic coursework, and collaborate with adult male leaders in the community.

F.A.M.E GAME

At ACE, the most pressing topics of today are not sidestepped, but are tackled head-on with a proactive and transformative approach. They delve deep into crucial issues such as police brutality, gun violence, and economic mobility, illuminating these subjects in their youth-led workshops. What sets ACE apart is its commitment to giving the reins of discussion to the young minds themselves, fostering an environment where they can lead, learn, and voice their perspectives.

Summer Learning Experience 

ACE Academy Summer Learning Experience (SLE) is a summer program for young men transitioning from 7th to the 8th grade. The summer program immerses young men in hands on academic learning opportunities in Humanities, Math, Science, Health; Wellness, Reading, Writing and weekly local field trips SLE features individualized leadership; learning plans to best support personal and academic growth. The summer program focuses on the whole child with the intention of experiencing the joy of learning daily.
